Launched in early 2007, DealMakers Online is a comprehensive research tool that encompasses all the data available in the DealMakers Magazine since 2000 plus loads more extra information  such as share prices and P/E's at the time of announcement.

The system is entirely web-based and covers the following transactions :

  • M&A activity undertaken by SA listed companies and their major subsidiaries
  • M&A activity by unlisted SA companies
  • General Corporate Finance includes transactions such as share issues (including IPO's), share repurchases, unbundling's, listings and refinancing (incl. bonds and securitisations by SA listed companies)
  • Company Affairs provides all the information on JSE listings, delistings and suspensions. Changes in share capital, name changes and audit opinions are also included, with a new set of data for DealMakers, namely Directors Dealings.

All results are displayed in Microsoft Excel and can be viewed onscreen or downloaded to your computer. This allows the user to define the results in any way required. Value fields and date fields are sortable within Excel.

The database covers transactions since 2000 and is currently being uploaded monthly. As the system is web-based it can be accessed from anywhere or anytime as long as you an internet connection.

Should you be interested in having a demonstration of the system, please contact
